Lux Verbi ("we", "our", or "us") provides a subscription-based mobile application that delivers daily Bible verses. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

  • Age — optional, collected during onboarding if provided.

Information collected automatically

  • Anonymous device identifier
  • Device type and operating system
  • App usage data (time spent in the app)
  • Onboarding completion status
  • Subscription status (free or paid tier)
  • Which users finished onboarding

2. How We Store and Process Data

We use Supabase to store the data listed above. Subscription payments are processed by Apple or Google and managed via RevenueCat. We do not collect or store payment card information.

3. Push Notifications

If you opt in to push notifications, we will send daily verses, reminders, and app updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

4. How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the app and content
  • Manage subscriptions and free tiers
  • Analyze and improve engagement and functionality
  • Send notifications (if enabled)

5. Sharing & Third Parties

We may share limited information with:

  • Apple/Google for billing
  • RevenueCat for subscription management
  • Supabase (data storage)

We do not sell personal data.

6. Children's Privacy

Lux Verbi is not directed to children under 13. If we discover we've collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it.

7. Data Retention & Security

We retain data as necessary to provide services and to comply with legal obligations. We implement reasonable technical safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time. You can delete your data directly in the app under Settings → Data & account, or contact us at gillzcommerce@gmail.com.

9. KJV and Copyright

Lux Verbi uses the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, which is in the public domain.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
